Strategic Goal No. 4 (SG4):
“To reinforce the maritime legal framework”.
Expected Action Plans (AP):
AP1: Enhancing the institutional structure of the National Maritime Administration, in
order to give legal formality to the National Maritime Administration Coordinating
Committee.
AP2: Optimizing, through the Ministry of Defense, the processes of creation and updating
of laws and regulations, to allow for the timely and effective implementation of
the ratified international instruments.
AP3: Strengthening and optimizing instructions and guidelines regarding the standards
and procedures for summary investigations of maritime accidents and casualties,
and for the determination of liabilities and corresponding sanctions.
